How: You receive either a print or digital copy of the manuscript and make notes on any changes you want made to the book so the writer can modify the manuscript. Why: Professional editing is expensive. It is most efficient to make sure there are no major changes needed in the manuscript before it is sent along to an editor. So it’s important that the individuals telling the story advise on corrections to the story at this point in the process. |
